Outreach

  /  Outreach

At Ycats we work to demonstrate Christ’s teaching of love and compassion through our From the Arts with Love outreach ministry.  Each year, Ycats sponsors over 100 children from various children’s homes and places of safety to attend a theatre production, where they are  always treated to meals, gifts and a performance that inspires hope for a brighter future.  Additionally, our members and supporters have the opportunity to participate in any of our yearlong charitable initiatives, geared towards helping children who are less fortunate.

Food for Thought

Food stands first among the basic necessities of life as it sustains the very existence of humans. When we feed the less fortunate we do more than just share food,  we also share the hope that comes through Christ.  Help to nourish a child by donating non-perishable food items or give  a monetary contribution.

The Care Closet

Clothing is a basic necessity to protect the human body and sanitary products are relevant for good personal hygiene. The Care Closet is designed to collect and distribute clothing and personal care items to the children who are less fortunate. Your donation will contribute to maintaining the children’s health.

Read & Play

Reading is a powerful and rewarding activity for children and equally beneficial are  educational toys. As with dancing, we believe learning should be fun. Help us to contribute to the young children’s educational development by donating story books and educational toys.

The Dancer Welfare Fund

At Ycats, we depend on the income received from fees, performance and donations to cover administrative expenses and our outreach initiatives. In this time of uncertainty, many of our children who love to dance may encounter difficulties paying fees or purchasing their dance gears. Their passion can be further advanced by the generosity of people like you. You are invited to sponsor a dancer  or contribute to the general fund.
